ABOUT ME
Ciao! 👋
I’m Cloppy, born and raised in Rome — land of espresso, chaos, and hand gestures that deserve their own language. When I was little, I dreamed of buying a campervan and traveling the world. Thirty-something years later, I’m still chasing that dream.
I graduated in Languages and taught Italian to foreign students both online and in-person for many years.
At Bla Bla Italian, I teach dynamic online Italian classes where speaking starts from day one. My school years traumatized but - thankfully and unexpectedly - taught me enough about how NOT to teach a language.
No boring grammar drills — just real, speaking-focused, interactive classes that make you feel like you’re already in Italy sipping cappuccino ✈️
When I’m not teaching, I eat sugar, take pics and overthink.

Claudia is a very patient and thorough tutor. I am very early in my learning, and the lessons are structured around helping me understand conversational Italian - pronunciation rules and how words and phrases are commonly used in Italian. I am growing more confident in my ability to speak and understand just after a couple lessons. Highly recommend.
